  Location: Karma Poster Contests

In this section of the website, you have the chance to enter and win a Pearl Jam poster. All you have to do is answer a question or series of questions correctly to be eligible to win. The format of the questions will probably change with each giveaway, some might be trivia related, some might involve just answering a simple question, and so forth. We will try and do this monthly for awhile and see how it goes.

THE CONTEST THIS TIME:
The Great BRY Karma Poster Contest
This contest is only open to all members of the Black Red Yellow board! If you are not a member, just join up and then you can play along!

This contest is open until we have a winner!

Here's How To Play:

This is definitely the longest, hardest, but most rewarding contest that we have done to date.

Hidden throughout the website are entries into ten levels. To win the Stash, you have to navigate and solve every level correctly and in order. Each level is totally different from the other levels...this is almost like 10 different contests rolled into one. To advance from one level to the next, you may have to solve a riddle, complete a game successfully, or perform some sort of task. It will not be easy, you may have to think, but hopefully it will be fun. For some levels, you may be able to complete them in 5 minutes; others, it will probably take months. Board members can help each other, but there will be only one winner.

What the levels will all have in common is that at the end of each one, you will be given a code word. You must write down and remember the word shown, because you will need it later! Along with the code word there will be either a riddle or a task for you to solve. Some of these are kind of cryptic while others will be "plain as day" as to what you have to do. Once you have completed the new task, you will be asked for a username and password. Both the user name and the password is the code word that you received from the previous level.

For example: Let's say you complete the first level. Once you complete the level, say you are given a new riddle. Along with your new riddle, you are given the code word "coolbeans". At this point, after a little deductive work, you figure out the riddle, and are prompted for a user name and password. The user name that you would enter is "coolbeans" and the password would be "coolbeans" as well. If you get an access denied error, check your spelling, turn caps lock off. If you are successful, you will be given a different code word that you would use for the end of the following round, and so on. Some levels end differently than others, but once you start advancing you should get the hang of it.

For questions and help, you can try the other board members on the Forums.

    FIRST LEVEL

To get you started, this is what you have to do to solve the first level: You have to collect 4 different puzzle pieces from the "Poster Shoppe" on the Forums. You can find the link to the Poster Shoppe near the top of each Forum page, beside the Member List, Calendar, etc. (you must be registered with the board to enter the Shoppe). To get puzzle pieces, you have to buy any of the available poster tokens from the shoppe. Once you buy one, you will be given a puzzle piece. Again, there are 4 different puzzle pieces which are scattered among the poster tokens. Once you have all the puzzle pieces, you have to do something with them to go onto the next level.

To buy a poster from the Poster Shoppe, you have to use Karma points. You are awarded Karma points by participating on the Forums like posting, replying, etc. There are also some hidden ways to get a bundle of points that you might be lucky to find.

If any of this sounds overly complicated, it is not meant to be...just ask on the Forums and we will try and help you. Have fun!

And it is never too late to start! It is really easy to a bunch of Karma points in a hurry, and you never know...
