Some commonly asked questions:

Q: So, who are you?
A: Just simply some fans of both Pearl Jam and their posters. After banging our heads on the wall in frustration for accurate information about Pearl Jam posters, one day we just decided to do it ourselves. It is sometimes an exhausting project, but we feel like we have come a long way in a short period of time. We hope that this will be the most accurate place for information about Pearl Jam posters that you can find.

Q: Where do you get your information?
A: Unfortunately for the artists, we bug the hell out of them. We also look at auction sales, dealer prices, and use our personal experiences to determine poster values. We have also been supplied an incredible amount of information from a great number of generous people.

Q: Do you work with or personally know Pearl Jam, Ames Brothers, or <insert artist name here>?
A: No, not at all.

Q: Do you sell posters?
A: NO! We are not dealers, just crazy fans. We do occassionally have extras to trade, look in the "Evacuation" section of the Forums.

Q: How do you feel about poster dealers?
A: Nothing against them. We have spent plenty of money from dealers in the past, and will probably continue to do so. However, we here actively support the artists themselves that produce these great works of art, not the merchants. That is why we don't supply information about dealers at all, and why we do provide links to artists' websites.

Q: Well, seriously, where can I buy a poster?
A: The first place to look is from the artists of the posters, which again we have included links to. Many of them sell their own posters, and you may be surprised to find that they are less expensive from them than from somewhere else in many cases. Most Pearl Jam posters are produced from the design group Ames Brothers. Obviously, auction houses such as eBay are other great places to sometimes find a rare poster that you are looking for. You can also usually find plenty of dealers if you do a search on the internet and look around. Since most of the posters are produced in generally low quantities, half the "fun" is looking for that special poster. If you still can't find it, you can also register and post a message on the Forums with whatever you are looking for in the "Wishlist" section.

Q: I am trying to find out something about <a poster>, and I don't see it on your site. Can you help me?
A: There are many posters that are missing from this site. Most of these fall in the category of promotional posters. We occassionally add new poster sections, and one day, we hope to have a picture of every Pearl Jam poster ever created. If you don't see it, let us know, and we will try to help you!

Q: I would like to use a poster picture you have for some cd art that I am making, and the scan you have is in low resolution. Do you not have anything better?
A: No, what you see is what we have. This is really not a good resource for high-quality poster scans, and is not meant to be. The pictures are here just to illustrate what posters have been made, and nothing more. In fact, we often decrease the resolution of the pictures once we get them. We recommend looking at other websites that have poster archives for higher quality poster pictures. Sometimes, however, we only have a crappy scan of a particular poster, so that is what we use. If you happen to have a better scan of anything, and would like to share, please email us.

Q: I would like to use a poster picture you have for my auction. Pretty please?
A: We are not here to help sellers, and it is annoying when people link to our files without even asking us. If you want a specific file, please at least ask before you start wasting our bandwidth. It should go without saying that we actively patrol all auction sites (it is one of our sources in determining values) and we check our server logs frequently, so it is easy for us to trace off-site linking. If you catch us on a bad day, we may even shut down your auctions or contact your ISP for doing this.
